We are a family owned business and Steven and Susan strive to make the golf course a family friendly experience. They love and encourage parents/grandparents to bring children so they can learn proper golfing etiquette.
The property that the golf course sits on was originally a Flax Mill. Later it became a family dairy farm, the old barn is now the site of the Pro Shop/Club House. The property went through a makeover, becoming a beautiful Tree Nursery, with the remnants of the Christmas trees scattered throughout the golf course, adding to the course's beauty.
Currently, the property is the site of a
driving range and golf course, which is constantly changing to make it even more breathtaking.
Steven and Susan chose the name Ondawa as the Indians often referred to this area as winding river, due to the proximity of the Battenkill.
